I unplugged the drive from the laptop then retried it but nothing happened. The Repair scan failed around 99% said the errors could not be fixed. I've never been able to copy data off a win8 drive unless I was able to boot it in the original system or in another system that was made for win8 ( and was compatible to the original specs).
